In the past, detailed plans for the inner workings and parts in machinery and tools were all completed on large paper drawings. Today, much of this work is done on a computer, but the old drawings can become far more accessible if they become scanned document images.
Those in the engineering field are finding it more difficult to deal with paper in their work environment, making SDC’s service in scanning large drawings documents and blueprints invaluable. In municipal or village government, the paperwork with building permits and ordinance documents can be overwhelming in handling and storage.
